Live to Read^TM was created by a mother of two young children who are voracious readers.  Going to the book store on a weekly basis became a financial burden.  Believe it or not, these two little monkeys even devoured all the children's books at their local library!  As a homeschooler, she learned that other families had hungry readers and needed more books.  After searching for ways to feed these readers, she realized she could provide a service to the community and growing families by obtaining used books and offering them in bulk.

Live to Read^TM was started by locating like-new and lovingly used books.  By grouping them in organized lots, families could provide a large variety of more interesting and age appropriate books to their children at a fraction of the cost of new books.

As Live to Read^TM grew, expansion was destiny.  Jodie Dale, the owner of Live to Read^TM, discovered Usborne Books, the leading publisher of the worlds best childrens' books.  "The quality and artistry of the books themselves made it a natural choice to become an independant sales consultant for Usborne Books."  We at Live to Read^TM are proud to be providing the best quality children's books to families world-wide.  Being able to combine Usborne Books and programs with Live to Read's customer service is our recipe to promote children's literacy, one book at a time!

Live to Read^TM is committed to children's literacy by assisting other organizations in reaching their goals, providing the world's best children's books and customer service!  We work with small daycare centers, public schools and districts, private schools, homeschoolers, large and small non-profit organizations who are looking to promote children's literacy and learning.
